- Join Sydney Water as a Modeller - creating and maintaining Water (Hydrodynamic & Quality) models, as well as Odour & Corrosion (O&C) models - 24 month fixed term contract role based from Parramatta with hybrid working available - EA 13 - $140,108.04 + super (38 hour week) About the Role: Responsible for developing and maintaining water (hydrodynamic and water quality) models, as well as odour and corrosion (O&C) models. The role supports the delivery of modelling projects and provides technical expertise to ensure quality assurance and effective end-to-end modelling processes, including support for modelling platforms and tools. - Ensure new or updated models comply with regulatory requirements, meeting our licencing obligations and accurately reporting environmental impact from overflows. - Providing analysis and insights from model outputs for regulatory reporting and incidents, ensuring legal compliance with our operating licence. - Manage the development, renewal, calibration, and updates of models based on stakeholder and regulatory requirements. - Consult with Major Capital Work Projects to define technical requirements for new models and support the design, delivery, testi...
