Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Evenings 3:00pm to 11:30pm Rotating Weekends and Holidays Technical/Phlebotomy - Perform approved specimen collection procedures, point-of-care testing services and processing. Provide education/information and support to patients and families concerning tests and specimen acquisition. Assist in special projects, evaluations, experiments or research. Customer Service - Act as patient advocate and meet patient/family needs. Provide information concerning patients admitted to, referred to/from, transferred to/from, or discharged from home unit. Provide emotional support to patients/families as needed. Utilize a customer focus in completing assignments, communicate in a courteous and conscientious manner. Promptly attend to requests and concerns. Collaboration - Work cooperatively with others to achieve goals. Proactively adjust one's style, efforts to complement those of others. Develop positive working relationships, interact in a respectful, professional manner. Share knowledge and/or provide support for team members.
