Role Overview We are recruiting a Relief HGV Driver (Class 2 Hiab) to join our New Malden team. This is a customer-facing role responsible for delivering materials to trade and retail customers, operating a Class 2 HIAB-equipped vehicle safely and efficiently, and supporting branch and transport teams during peak periods or cover requirements. The successful candidate will be reliable, safety conscious and adaptable, able to represent the company professionally while maintaining high standards of vehicle care and customer service. Key Responsibilities: Operate a Class 2 (C) HGV fitted with a HIAB crane to load, transport and unload goods to customers’ sites, following job sheets and instructions from the Transport Supervisor. Ensure all loads are properly secured and protected for transit; use straps, tarpaulins and other appropriate restraints to prevent damage. Use the onboard HIAB crane safely and efficiently to lift and place materials at customer sites, following safe systems of work and manufacturer guidance.
