Summary: The Foreman II is responsible for the supervision and efficiency of technical staff in daily maintenance and repair of city vehicles and equipment. Serves as the liaison between internal departments and coordinating warranty/sublet repairs. Recommends and initiates personnel actions and performs a variety of technical tasks related to the assigned area of responsibility. Must be able to lift tools/parts up to 75lbs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Supervises technical staff in the completion of repairs and maintenance - Serves as primary customer service representative for the Shop - Coordinates and recommends procedures for facility and equipment maintenance, modification, including replacements - Coordinates outside warranty and repair work - Reviews invoices, work orders, consumption reports, and forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and assigns work - Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decreases turnaround times, streamlines work processes to provide quality seamless customer service - Ensures targeted productivity goals & standards are met - Ensures technicians take required training...
