Job Description Summary The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Technician will support site environmental, health and safety programs and work with existing technical, quality and production team members to identify, develop and implement EHS program improvements. The successful candidate will work with internal GE EHS professionals, outside agencies, consultants, and vendors on EHS projects. Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities: - Coordinate and/or lead assigned elements of Health and Safety programs as the business needs. This will include, but is not limited to industrial hygiene, ergonomics, emergency preparedness, accident investigation, risk assessment etc. - Support site Environmental programs: Air, Water, Waste, and Chemical Management. - Implement / modify related EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance. - Maintain an in-depth knowledge of existing and proposed regulations. - Utilize and implement GenSuite tools to manage EHS programs.
