Quality Assurance Engineer

Job description

Requirements The Quality Assurance Engineer will find bugs, defects, and regressions. Design, implement, execute, and debug test cases and/or automated test scripts. Validate and document completion of testing and development. Verify fixes and help ensure successful releases by planning and executing test activities for exploratory and regression testing. This position will demonstrate and apply product, domain, or technical expertise to maximize the quality of testing for a development team. Maintain a positive and professional attitude. Identify opportunities for improving processes, training and tools and make appropriate recommendations to management. Essential Tasks: - Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback - Develop testing plans and testing scenarios in accordance with the functional requirements and detail technical specifications provided by the design team to ensure code generated by the development team conforms to the specified requirements - Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities within a cross-functional development team - Design, develop and execute test cases and/or automati...
