City/State Hampton, VA Work Shift: First (Days) Provider Specialty: Pain Management Overview: Sentara Medical Group is searching for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience in managing complex patients with chronic pain to join their innovative Pain Management team in Norfolk, VA. Position Summary: The Pain Management Advanced Practice Provider (APP) collaborates with interventional pain physicians to deliver comprehensive, patient‑centered care across the continuum of pain management services. This role focuses on supporting new patient intake for individuals with new-onset acute back pain , pre‑operative and post‑procedural management of interventional pain patients , and the performance of lower‑acuity pain procedures within the APP’s scope of practice. The APP functions as an integral member of the multidisciplinary pain management team, promoting high‑quality, efficient, and evidence‑based care.
