Position: Scientific Editor, Patterns Company: Elsevier, The Cell Press journal Patterns preferred Location: London or Oxford UK; Munich, Germany About the Journal: The Cell Press journal Patterns is looking for a Scientific Editor to join us. Launched in 2020, Patterns ( cell.com/patterns/ ) publishes impactful research across the full breadth of data science, including cutting edge technical advances, and insightful analysis and commentary. The journal is fully open access and dedicated to promoting open, reproducible science. About the Role: The Scientific Editor will be closely involved in all editorial aspects of the journal. Candidates located in and with the right-to-work in the UK, Germany, USA, or China are encouraged to apply. While we can potentially offer flexibility in location, there would be advantages for candidates based in proximity to our offices in London or Oxford UK; Munich, Germany; Medford, USA; or Beijing, Shanghai or Shenzhen, China.
