PRN Fitness Specialist Avon Fitness Center - ( 260003KP ) Description A Brief Overview A Fitness Specialist provides health and fitness service, ensures a safe and clean environment while initiating fitness assessments, exercise and equipment orientations, and promoting fitness center programs and services. What You Will Do: - Conducts primary fitness assessments and equipment orientations. - Acts as Manager on Duty when the management team is not present. - Sanitizes the equipment and ensures it is safe and in working order. Ensures supplies on the fitness floor are properly stocked. - Moves quickly and acts as the primary responder once on scene in all emergency codes – if 1st responder: must perform CPR, use AED, or apply first aid as needed; if 2nd responder: must help as needed, crowd control, and handle documentation. - Develops incentive programs and presentations to keep members engaged and educated. - Delivers health screenings and special events on and off site as needed.
