Quality Engineer, Receiving and Vehicle Quality

The Quality Engineer, Receiving and Vehicle Quality, will interact with quality, manufacturing, engineering, and fleet operations to ensure that parts received at Zoox meet quality and documentation expectations and that products released to service meet design specifications, functionality, customer expectations, and have required documentation. A successful candidate must have the ability to meet tight deadlines, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be detail-oriented, and be able to work independently. In this role, you will: - Maintain quality and inventory records for receiving inspection - Coordinate rework activities with responsible part owners and supplier quality engineers - Design, champion, and execute strategic continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the receiving inspection, production quality audit, and vehicle release processes. - Work cross-functionally with Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, and Vehicle Development to strategically resolve systemic product and process issues - Support the development and review of PFMEA and Control Plans to ensure compliance and robust risk mitigation strategies for all critic...
