Position Summary A part-time opportunity is available for a Psychiatrist at The Residence at Homewood, starting in June. In this role, the Psychiatrist will deliver on-site, evidence-based psychiatric care for individuals living with depression, anxiety, trauma, addiction, and concurrent disorders. Working collaboratively within a dedicated interdisciplinary team, including Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Addiction Counselling, Art Therapy, Recreation Therapy, Strength & Conditioning, and 24/7 Nursing, the Psychiatrist will play a key role in comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, individualized treatment planning, and clinical oversight throughout the client’s stay. What you’ll be doing: - Clinically responsible for assigned patients including admission, assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, referral, daily care, and discharge. - Clinical care includes diagnosis and management of psychiatric disorders, medication management, referral to the Interventional Psychiatry Service (ECT, rTMS, Ketamine infusion) when appropriate, as well as the interdisciplinary team for individual support return to work planning, and psychotherapeutic interventions - Provide ongoing sup...
