Job description

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Power Generation Technician / Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in Oak Creek, WI In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: - Completing repair activities on generators or components - Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner - Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools - Maintain detailed records of service - Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies - Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products - Maintain own tools In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: (Intermediate): (Advanced): - Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities. - High Voltage / Low Voltage experience. - Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision – hands on exposure to working on power generation products. - Advanced troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components. - Startup and repair of bypass transfer switch. - Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation. - Setup, troubleshoot and repair basic paralleling generator syste...
