SUMMARY: The Production Sr Lead Person is responsible for production personnel, processes, and performance to safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Assists in the supervision of personnel and is responsible for the activities in their area of responsibility. - Assures that established policies, rules, regulations, and procedures are followed. - Responsible for the safety of personnel, processes, equipment, and housekeeping of the area. - Responsible for ensuring all processes, equipment, and personnel are meeting quality standards. - Ensures training and cross-training is conducted, effective, and training records are maintained. - Assists Supervisor with employee development and administrative duties. - Assists Supervisor with timekeeping by verifying accuracy of clock punches, reconciling time-clock exceptions and performing inter-departmental time transfers. - Assists Supervisor with employee scheduling and assignment of manpower to meet production schedules and cost targets. - Maintains thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment in area of responsibility. - Leads operati...
