Job Description The Communications Systems and Spectrum Division (CSSD) within the Information and Communications Lab (ICL) is seeking an Electrical and Computer Engineering Intern starting Summer 2026. Work with our research engineers to develop adaptive wireless communications systems. Have you ever wanted to work in advanced wireless communications areas such as 5G, IoT, or Wi-Fi? As an Intern, you will learn skills in these areas to propel your career forward. If you have a good handle on the basics of ECE and are good at learning new things, then you already have the basic knowledge to get started here, and to work with our research engineers to develop adaptive wireless communications systems. We train our students with a positive attitude and work ethic and strive to transition them into full-time employees upon graduation. Your tasks will include: Assisting in creating software and hardware for 5G, embedded systems, and servers; programming and testing analog and digital electrical system; embedded software and sensor interfacing; and working on documentation, drawings, and designs.
