Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: MUST HAVE ICU EXPERIENCE Position Purpose: Cath Lab functions independently as a member of our team of Nurses, Cardiovascular Technologists, and Interventional Cardiologists. Within our two procedure labs, the RN provides care to patients undergoing elective and emergent invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. The lab also performs pacemaker and defibrillator implantations, generator changes, loop recorder insertions, tilt table tests, transesophageal echocardiograms, and cardioversion procedures. This role performs a variety of tasks to ensure patient safety and comfort including patient assessment and hemodynamic monitoring, pre procedure preparation and administration of conscious sedation. What you will do: In this Cath lab RN position, you will provide direct patient care to adult though geriatric patient populations. Address the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical environment.
