Job description

The Teller is responsible for greeting all members when they enter the branch and assisting them with their financial needs. This is a front-line role responsible for delivering outstanding service and support to members through various channels, including in-person, by phone, and through text and digital messaging. This position performs a variety of financial transactions and supports both lobby and teller operations. Our ideal candidate has a positive, can-do attitude, and is a problem-solver with strong cash-handling and member service skills. Additionally, the candidate should be comfortable in a sales environment and be able to meet monthly sales goals. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TELLER INCLUDE: - Serving as a member experience concierge for members entering the branch and coordinating lobby flow. - Performing routine member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing. - Assisting members in the opening and closing of accounts. - Balancing the teller drawer at the end of the day. - Supporting ITM (Interactive Teller Machine) operations and serving as a knowledgeable resource. - Promoting and cross-selling Pelican produ...
