LabCare Latham is seeking a licensed Medical Technologist to join our dynamic lab team. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of laboratory test and procedures in accordance with established protocols and quality standards. This is a full-time position; Monday-Friday 11:30am-8:00pm , rotating weekend and holiday. **This position is eligible for up to a $1,000.00 recruitment/retention bonus.** Essential Functions include, but are not limited to: - Perform technical laboratory functions including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis and immunology. - Maintain records of procedure performance, patient results and quality control in the laboratory. - Report test results following clinic protocols drawing special alerts to physicians and/or nurses on “red flag” results. - Review relevant laboratory reports for extraordinary results and clerical errors before they are reported to the providers; including reports on procedures processed in reference laboratories. - Maintain supplies and equipment in accordance with defined policies and protocols, and logs preventative and remedial maintenance of equipment and performance of equipment, including daily temperature checks. - Perform schedu...
