Network Cabling Technician – FAA Projects (Part-Time)

Description Concept Solutions, LLC is seeking experienced Network Cabling Technicians to support ad-hoc FAA installation projects at facilities across the United States. This role is project-based, with assignments ranging from 1–10 days up to 30 days, approximately 20 hours/week requiring the ability to travel nationwide. Technicians will install, maintain, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems in compliance with industry standards while ensuring minimal disruption to facility operations. - Install, terminate, test, and certify copper and fiber optic cabling systems (Cat5e/6/6A, single-mode and multi-mode fiber) according to BICSI, TIA/EIA, and NEC standards. - Perform cable routing, pulling, and pathway management through conduits, cable trays, raised floors, and ceiling spaces. - Splice fiber optic cables using fusion and mechanical methods; verify performance with OTDR and optical power meter testing. - Install and configure patch panels, network racks, cable management hardware, terminal boxes, and wall outlets. - Troubleshoot and repair existing cabling infrastructure using TDRs, certifiers, and other diagnostic equipment. - Maintain accurate as-built documentation, inc...
