Created in 1972 under the Victorian Conservation Trust Act 1972 (Vic), Trust for Nature has a proud history of working across the government, not-for profit and private sectors to achieve permanent protection of important conservation land across Victoria. About the role: We’re searching for a highly organised Conservation Project Officer to join our passionate team. This role is essential to the delivery of multiple conservation projects across the South East Victoria, and contributes to meaningful on‑ground outcomes. Familiarity with conservation and land management principles is required to provide guidance and undertake project activities. In this role you will proactively engage with partners and landholders regarding project delivery, conduct monitoring, spatial mapping and work with contractors to undertake on-ground project activities.
