Surgical Technologist/ORT – FlexStaff Participates as a member of the Perioperative team by performing direct and indirect Perioperative tasks for patients having surgical procedures. Performs delegated patient care activities while ensuring patient safety. Responsibilities: Qualifications: OR (meets one for the following) OR (meets one for the following) *a person may be employed or contracted with to practice surgical technology during the 12-month period immediately following successful completion of a surgical technology program, but may not continue to be employed beyond that period without documentation that the employee holds and maintains a certified surgical technologist credential required. - Implements and communicates the age specific plan of care and gives thorough reports at change of shift and relief time.
