While prior experience of build systems, componentisation, Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) will be an advantage, this role is an opportunity for talented developers to move into Platform Engineering. You will work in AVEVA’s E&D Foundations team researching, designing, implementing and maintain core software components for the Dabacon Products suite using a variety of technologies: Azure DevOps, YAML Pipelines , C#, C++, Fortran Key Responsibilities: - Ensure a deep understanding of software, it’s modules and the infrastructure and contexts in which it runs - Demonstrate sound decision making on work to be sure it is delivered in a timely manner. - Design, implement and maintain both the core components used by other product teams.
