Job Summary: The Plumbing and Wastewater Technician is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems and wastewater treatment facilities. This role ensures that all systems operate efficiently and comply with local, state, and federal regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing codes and wastewater management practices, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fittings, fixtures, and water and drainage systems. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing and wastewater systems to identify and address issues. Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing and wastewater problems, implementing effective solutions. Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing and wastewater systems to ensure optimal operation. Respond to emergency plumbing and wastewater issues, providing timely and effective resolutions. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent.
