Job description

Your mission We are looking for a Front End Engineer to join our cross functional Core Experience team and help them help our neighbors connect with one another! Technical Stewardship: - Take ownership of the frontend architecture and technical direction of the Core user experience team, ensuring scalability, performance, reliability, and long-term maintainability. - Be an active participant in the evolution of our React-based frontend, including state management, SSR in Node.js, and build tooling (Vite, Webpack, Rollup, CI/CD). - Uphold engineering standards for clean code, testing, performance, accessibility, and security. - Participate in technical decision-making and ensure alignment with backend, platform, and product architecture. Delivery & Execution: - Collaboratively deliver outcomes with your cross functional team: planning, prioritisation, predictability, and quality. - Commit to user value deliveries each sprint and consistently meet those commitments. - Work closely with Product Management and Design to translate business and user needs into executable technical roadmaps. - Balance technical debt, platform evolution, and feature delivery in a sustainable way.
