Description Job Summary: To provide optimum critical/emergency care to sick or injured infants/children transported by aircraft or ground ambulance to UMMC or other designated facilities. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to assess and treat injuries and disease for pediatric and neonatal patients. Knowledge of agents, equipment, procedures, and techniques for the provision of emergency and critical care nursing for interfacility and scene transports. Verbal and written communication skills. Ability to remain calm in emergency conditions. Ability to provide physical and psychological treatment and comfort to patients. Ability to withstand exposure to noise, external weather conditions, and work in high altitudes. Ability to maintain and comply with weight and lifting restrictions and requirements.
