Job DetailsJob Location: Edmond, OK 73034Position Type: StudentSalary Range: $13.00 - $13.00 HourlyJob Category: OTRS IneligiblePosition Overview This is an off-campus, Federal Work Study Program (FWSP) Teaching Assistant (TA) position which serves as the School-Age Assistant Teacher for Urban League of Greater Oklahoma City. The position site is not on UCO’s campus. The School-Age Assistant Teacher (SAAT) supports the delivery of high-quality, afterschool, school break, and summer learning programming for elementary and middle school youth. The position focuses on helping students strengthen Reading and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) skills through tutoring, project-based learning, and enrichment activities. The SAAT promotes a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment that encourages academic growth, creativity, and positive social development. Hours per Week: As needed, up to 25 hours per week (maximum), Monday-Friday. The schedule will be assigned by Urban League’s Director of Education, based on the program’s needs.
