Job DetailsJob Location: Whatcom Family YMCA - Bellingham, WA 98225Position Type: Part TimeSalary Range: $19.13 - $19.13 HourlyPOSITION SUMMARY: This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The Facilities Attendant at Whatcom Family YMCA performs routine janitorial duties to ensure cleanliness of facility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Clean and sanitize sinks, toilets, showers, restrooms, and other assigned areas of the building following the assigned daily, weekly and monthly Tasks Sheet. Empty waste containers. Replace soap, paper towels, and other supplies. Report building problems. Report supply stock problems. Dispose of trash and performs sidewalk/exterior clean up. Complete the two week task chart. Follows organizations policies and procedures regarding protecting youth from abuse; including screening and selection, training and supervision, and responding to allegations.
