Systems Configuration Engineer, Manufacturing

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a specialized field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP, etc.), or equivalent practical experience. - 2 years of experience in hardware configuration management, manufacturing engineering, or systems integration. - Experience creating and managing technical production definitions (e.g., Bills of Materials (BoMs), wiring diagrams, or physical rack layouts). - Experience working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems or similar configuration databases. Preferred qualifications: - Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related field (e.g., Optics, Sensors, Audio/DSP). - Experience developing and maintaining system level compute architectures, with understanding of interdependencies from a power, networking, and physical interface perspective. - Experience influencing the product design process for design for manufacture and assembly considerations.
