Dallas College Wings of Wonder Show Production Internship - Interns will work alongside Dallas Zoo staff in the Ambassador Animal program to support the production needs of the Wings of Wonder show. Interns will be responsible for most pre-show, during show, and post-show needs that may arise around each daily performance. Interns might be responsible for a range of production activities including assisting in the development and maintenance of stage properties, creating and executing sound cues, mixing various audio input through a sound board, performing pre and post-show cleaning operations, preparing back stage and onstage set pieces, working with performers to execute scenes and vignettes, assisting in the creation of light and video cues, performing basic cabling, patching and networking protocols, performing onstage, collaborating with the creative team to improve or enhance production values, or engaging with the audience. Interns will not be working directly with animals and will need to abide by rules of working around the live animal actors.
