Job description

Responsibilities and Duties: - Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to determine project requirements. - Weld and fabricate stainless steel and other metals using TIG and other welding techniques. - Cut, grind, fit, and assemble materials to precise measurements and tolerances. - Set up and operate welding machines, torches, grinders, and related shop equipment. - Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure compliance with codes, standards, and project specifications. - Maintain proper documentation of welds, materials, and quality control checks. - Follow safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and adherence to OSHA and company safety policies. - Assist with material handling, loading, and staging of fabricated components for delivery. - Collaborate with shop foreman, project managers, and field crews to meet deadlines and support project schedules. - Perform equipment maintenance and report issues with tools, machines, or materials. - Keeps work area clear of unnecessary clutter and performs routine clean-up as needed. - All other duties as assigned.
