Job Description Hiring Rate: $74,536.00 [Flat Rate]: Under direct supervision of the Executive Director of Strategy and Operations for the Bureau of Community Awareness, Action, Response (BCAARE), the Planning Analyst will receive training in performing beginning level scientific and applied research. With latitude for the exercise of independent judgment and autonomy, the Planning Analyst will assist with providing research duties and analyses, in support of a variety of planning activities including analyzing and developing BCAARE’s planning practices and procedures, researching emerging needs and community engagement strategies, and managing ad hoc planning/policy/research projects, including but not limited to the following: - Coordinate the development of BCAARE’s annual and/or four-year Local Services Plan (LSP) as mandated by the NYS Mental Hygiene Law and recommend methods of monitoring and evaluation outcomes for the Bureau. - Contribute to collaboration for behavioral health systems planning across BCAARE by participating in meetings, workshops, and projects that include various levels of staff including senior leadership. - Coordinate Community Services Board (CSB) Subco...
