Deaf and Hard of Hearing Employment Specialist – Central NJ (Middlesex and Somerset Counties) Shift: Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Must be flexible to work evenings & weekends as needed) About Us and Our Program: Easterseals, a national nonprofit, has supported individuals with disabilities for over 50 years. Its Career Pathway Connections program offers person-centered employment services for individuals who are Deaf, Deaf-Blind, or hard of hearing, providing ASL-proficient support, workplace accommodations, and assistive technology to remove employment barriers. What You’ll Do: The Employment Specialist helps individuals with hearing loss secure and maintain competitive employment by fostering independence, building employer partnerships, and identifying workplace supports for long-term success.
