Quality Technician - 2nd Shift

Job description

Overview Conducts quality inspections, testing, and analysis to ensure that products meet specified standards and customer requirements. This role involves monitoring production processes, performing quality checks, and maintaining documentation to support quality assurance efforts. Responsibilities: 1. Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or standards to inspect or test product throughout the manufacturing processes to determine if it is fit for conformance or customer requirements. This can include dimensional, attribute, performance, mechanical or chemical characteristics. 2. Records test data, applying statistical process control procedures where applicable. 3. Documents reports to validate or identify details for deviations from existing standards, where and when required. 4. Supports calibration of tools and gauges as required. 5. Operates various types of measurement equipment required to evaluate product conformance (i.e. various coordinate measuring machines, profilometer, hardness tester, optical comparators, various gages (calipers, micrometers, protractors, etc.) 6.
