Job description

The Supervisor – Shipping & Receiving leads day-to-day warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, order picking, staging, loading, and unloading. This role ensures accurate, on-time order fulfillment while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The Supervisor is also responsible for building and developing a strong team through hiring, training, and performance management, while fostering a positive, team-oriented work environment aligned with company values. Key Responsibilities: - Supervise and coordinate all shipping/receiving activities, including picking, staging, and loading/unloading. - Ensure accurate, on-time fulfillment of outbound orders, including proper handling of temperature-sensitive products. - Complete and process invoices and Bills of Lading (BOLs) accurately and on time. - Close out daily shipping activities in compliance with warehouse systems and cold chain protocols. - Lead, train, and mentor first-shift warehouse staff; enforce cold storage safety and handling standards. - Assign tasks and manage staffing across dry and cold storage areas for optimal efficiency. - Promote teamwork, accountability, and cross-training to incre...
