Department: Clinical Equipment Schedule/Status: 730-4pm; Full Time: Standard Hours/Week: 40: General Description: Under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Engineering, Clinical Equipment Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for routine repairs, inspecting, testing and preventative maintenance for Hospital equipment: beds / stretchers, rehabilitation equipment, Patient monitoring and vital signs monitors throughout Parrish Healthcare’s organization. Requirements: - Promotes Parrish Healthcare’s Culture of Choice—an engaged, healing work environment- by establishing a climate of life-long learning, continuous improvement, growth, and development. - Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hospital equipment, such as vital sign monitors, telemetry units, infusion pumps, patient beds, stretchers, and handheld consumables (i.e. thermometer, pulse oximeters, otoscope sets, etc.). - Assists in the maintenance of the RTLS, equipment tracking system, for medical equipment.
