Description POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER: A postdoctoral trainin g position is available in the laborator y of Dr. Jonathan Mosley , in the Department of Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center to identify opportunities to apply polygenic variation in complex traits to clinical and public health practice. Our laborator y has several exciting projects related to applying innovative genomic approaches to identify opportunities to use genetic background to inform clinical and public health decision-making, to identify risk factors and biomarkers of disease, and to identify and reduce heath inequities in vulnerable populations. Qualifications: Candidates must hold a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree. Experience in genetic epidemiology or population genetics leading to publication in peer-reviewed journals is recommended.
