Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: POSITION PURPOSE Lab Manager for the Core Lab and Blood Bank at Trinity Health Livonia supporting a team of over 40 colleagues. Responsible for the supervision of the Laboratory personnel engaged in the conduct of routine and/or specialized tests and analyses. Provides a general level of technical and managerial direction to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of services provided by the assigned group, resolve day-to-day problems within the laboratory, ensure or conduct the necessary on-the-job and formal training of subordinates and manages the utilization of resources. Full-time benefited position scheduled 40 hours per week on-site at Trinity Health Livonia. MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, or university in Medical Technology, Histotechnology or equivalent work experience, or related science required, depending on section(s) to which assigned. CERTIFICATION : Medical Technologist (MT)/Histotechnologist (HT) – ASCP, or NCLS certification preferred.
