Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: The schedule for this position is: Monday - Wednesday 8:30 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. 36 hours a week. Position Summary: Under the direction of the supervisor, the transporter is responsible for transportation of patients throughout the hospital. Additionally, he/she delivers objects to patient care areas and ensures that transport equipment is properly maintained. Transport staff will assist Public Safety in patient restraints and standbys. Position Requirements: A. Education: A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent or must obtain/complete within 6 months of hire. B: Experience: Hospital or related experience preferred but not required. On the job training provided.
