Job DetailsJob Location: QMC - Sparks, NV 89431Job Category: Skilled Labor - TradesPosition Summary The position leads and coordinates the activities of our Crane Structural Welder Employees.Crane Structural Welder/Fabricators are responsible for performing high-quality welding and fabricating tasks on structural components of cranes and heavy machinery. This role involves leading the team, interpreting blueprints, specifications, and engineered drawings to ensure precise and safe welding of materials. The welder/fabricator foreman will work with various types of metals, such as steel and aluminum, and use a range of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding to fabricate and repair crane structures. Principle Accountabilities: Leads the activities of employees; provides assistance to workers engaged in production activities; troubleshoots worker and production problems and recommends solutions. Engages in interactive communication. Trains workers in production methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, and company policies. Monitors comprehension and re-trains as necessary.
