Job Description: This position will encompass the following responsibilities. This is not considered to be an all-encompassing list of responsibilities, and additional duties may be assigned as needed to support the business. - Inspect all inbound scrap via tractor trailer and direct trucks where to dump load. - As requested, assist in inspecting inbound scrap via railroad car. - Spot check suspected radioactive cars or truck loads with handheld Geiger counter - Spot check suspected off chemistry scrap with handheld Niton XRF machine. - As requested, assist in tracking or isolating suspected scrap for off chemistry heats at the furnace. - Notify material handler operators when loads are...
