Job description
The Opportunity: The 3D Culture Facility (3DCF) is a specialist lab embedded within the Katharina Gaus Light Microscopy Facility (KGLMF) at UNSW. The 3DCF provides technical expertise, infrastructure, and hands-on support for advanced cell culture, with a strong focus on organoids, stem-cell derived models, and other complex 3D culture systems. The facility supports and collaborates with a variety of research groups in the Faculties of Science, Medicine and Health, and Engineering at UNSW, as well as groups at other universities and research institutes in Australia and overseas. The 3DCF is the latest addition to the KGLMF, and supports projects spanning disease modelling, developmental biology and precision medicine. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll support research projects by providing technical assistance in establishing, expanding, and maintaining organoid and advanced 3D cultures for researchers across a diverse range of biological applications.
