Overview Non-Certified Medical Assistant, Fort Sanders Women's Specialists Full Time, 80 Hours Per Pay Period, Day Shift Perinatal Overview: Fort Sanders Perinatal Center, part of Covenant Health, specializes in caring for women with high-risk pregnancies. Position Summary: Under general supervision, performs basic medical assistant activities on patients. Assists physicians or practitioner with examinations, procedures and other processes related to direct patient care. Responsibilities: - Performs basic medical assistant procedures such as weighing patients and taking vital signs. Performs injections, blood sugars, and urinalysis and urine pregnancy tests.
