Sr Business Systems Analyst

Job description

Basic Purpose Responsible for functional application maintenance, analyzing and resolving application/system issues, recommending and implementing corrective and enhancement modifications to accommodate customer and business requirements and providing expertise to other departmental personnel and users. Provides leadership and guidance to other business systems analyst within the project or group. Articulates the assignment progress as well as raise any concerns. Works with other business systems analysts, alongside leadership, to organize, plan, and execute task assignments against a schedule. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Leads complex application environment and system changes. Analyzes complex application issues providing recommended solutions/system changes with detailed written documentation. Accountable for product test and final sign-off of system changes. Creates, revises and executes test plans of medium to high complexity and identifies cross functional impacts. Reviews test plans prepared by others. Provides technical leadership to staff.
