Maintenance Planner

Job description

Job Summary: The Maintenance Planner manages the planning of work within the respective department. The primary purpose of this role is to plan prioritized work, including the generation of kits where appropriate, generate new PM’s and revisions of existing PM’s, procure parts, tools, equipment and facilitate parts repairs, plan outages and document performance. Responsibilities: - Plan work orders, giving manpower requirements, safety instructions, and task descriptions that ensure safe and efficient execution of all planned maintenance jobs - Acquire proper parts, tools, and equipment for each job and stage them as appropriate - Acquire prints, OEM and other documentation required to define the work - Oversee the kitting of parts for planned and scheduled jobs as appropriate - Review output of daily work order prioritization meeting for new jobs to add to the Planning backlog.
