Department Overview: The Family Maternity Center includes a 57-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to take care of babies who are born early or require a higher level of care. Babies in the NICU may require more medical equipment to adjust to the world, but the NICU is also a place where we encourage parents to bond with their infants in their earliest stages of life.
