Arconic is currently in search of a Lithium (Casting) Metallurgist-Process Engineer to join our Aluminum Extrusion (AEX) business unit in Lafayette, IN. In this role you will: - Apply statistical process control (SPC) for process variable monitoring to prevent drift - Lead monthly scrap and recovery reviews combined with extrusion scrap data - Disposition thermal deviations - Write and review procedures and work instructions ensuring clarity and consistency ; reinforce and update E-Books on the floor - Develop, monitor, and update thermal and casting practices - Perform floor walks and layered process audits with safety and quality top of mind - Track and ensure the success of qualification / process changes, particularly those for end use in Pratt & Whitney rotating parts - Lead continuous process improvement efforts including but not limited to -...
