Job Summary-: **The hourly rate for this position is $28.64/hour** General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, a premier provider of ordnance weapons and tactical systems to the U.S. Department of Defense and allied nations, is seeking a Plater #2 to join our Saco Operations team. We are about supporting the mission of the warfighter. Our products can be found with every U.S. Military branch with allies around the world. We are looking for motivated and creative individuals who want to help shape and support this organization. Sets up and operates Chrome Plating and Electropolishing equipment to coat or remove metal electrolytically to provide a hard wear resistant finish on internal and external surfaces. Monitors plating operations with emphasis on correct voltage, amperage and time cycles. Processes parts using various acid and alkaline solutions. Follows established company directives, policies, military specifications, and process sheet operations, and instructions. Responsibilities-: Places or fastens metal objects to be plated to hooks, racks or containers and performs various plating applications. Insure proper fill level of all process solutions.
