The Mechanical Superintendent is responsible for managing and overseeing all Edmonton/Fort Saskatchewan, AB field construction among various trades on projects or across a portfolio of work including planning, organizing, directing and controlling various aspects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Manage and provide leadership for health, safety, environment, and quality programs and policies - Assist Project Manager or Division Manager in the planning of assigned projects - Executes plan and evaluates schedules and site personnel to ensure project objectives are met - Provides leadership to Foreman(s) and prioritizes work accordingly - Oversees site safety and quality control personnel - Hire and supervise the activities of subcontractors and subordinate staff - Build and maintain customer and supplier/vendor relationships - Monitor job c...
