Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Clinical Nurse Educator II (CNE) for PCT Orientation/Acute Education in our St Peters Hospital- Exempt FT Days - flexible shift options 40hrs a week POSITION SUMMARY: Abiding by the Mission & Values, the Clinical Nurse Educator II (CNE II) provides professional development and education services in the clinical setting by assisting nurses in preparing for contemporary clinical practice and supporting them in acquiring the knowledge and skills so that they can competently collect patient health data, analyze the data to determine nursing diagnoses, identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient, develop a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain the expected outcome. SPHP practices theory based nursing that is evidenced based utilizing a shared governance model for decision –making. The practice of the Clinical Nurse Educator II is consistent with the Nursing Professional Development: Scope and Standards of Practice (ANPD, 2016).
