Job Description About the Role: This role is an on-shift, night-shift position working 6:45pm-7:15am on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. The primary responsibility for the maintenance technician is to safely keep the plant running, perform PMs on all manufacturing equipment, and perform new installs. Relationships: - Will need a comprehensive knowledge of safety rules, manufacturer recommendations, OSHA regulations and general work safety practices. Understand and follow without exception PPE requirements, safe electrical practices, Energy Isolation procedures, HMIS, and other plant safety requirements. - Work jointly with production team to ensure that equipment is in safe and efficient operational status at all times. Works individually and jointly with plant team members to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment to ensure optimum utilization and process capability. - Must be able to interpret and understand basic electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic drawings and functions. - Responsible for the maintenance of the spare parts crib in an orderly fashion with utilizing first in/first out methodology.
