Description The Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Rochester seeks a clinician with fellowship training in musculoskeletal oncology and a commitment to a career in orthopaedic oncology. The successful candidate will be ABOS board eligible or board certified. This is a full-time position. Initial academic appointment will be determined by the candidate’s academic curriculum vita. The Department of Orthopaedics has 60 clinical and 14 full time research faculty. We are the sole orthopaedic clinicians for UR Medicine, a seven hospital clinically integrated network serving a population of close to a million patients in western New York. The Department is organized into 9 sub-specialty divisions, and the successful candidate will join another fellowship-trained orthopaedic oncologist, and 4 advanced practice providers in the Division of Orthopaedic Oncology and Metabolic Bone Disease. The Division collaborates closely with the University’s Wilmot Cancer Center, the busiest cancer center in New York State outside of New York City.
